Review and Assessment of the Current Accreditation System of St. Kitts-Nevis and Recommendations to Improve Overall Accreditation Related Policies and Procedures

BH Associates were asked to undertake a review of the Accreditation Board of St. Kitts and Nevis. The review was undertaken during 2020-2021, the first since the Accreditation Board’s establishment by the Saint Christopher and Nevis Accreditation of Institutions Act 2017. The review is especially timely given the significance of post-secondary and tertiary education to the economy of St Kitts and Nevis, the reputational issues arising and the increasing importance of quality assurance and accreditation internationally. Nine main recommendations were made.

An official hand-over ceremony was held on Monday 15 November 2021, with the Minister Hon. Jonel Powell in attendance.
