Assessing the "New Generation" of Higher Education Rankings
Ellen Hazelkorn published two articles assessing the “new generation” of rankings which focus on specific themes that rankers see as central to global realities. New entrants are focusing on, amongst other things, sustainability, the environment and climate change, equity and social mobility, ethics and transparency, and societal value and impact. These are the issues and concerns of Generation Z and Generation Alpha; in other words, students and potential students.
