Appointment to the Higher Education for Smart Specialisation Advisory Group

Ellen Hazelkorn has been appointed to the Higher Education for Smart Specialisation (HESS) advisory group of the European Commission, Joint Research Council.  The JRC has been the home for the Smart Specialisation Platform. https://s3platform.jrc.ec.europa.eu

Smart Specialisation is a place-based approach characterised by the identification of strategic areas for intervention based both on the analysis of the strengths and potential of the economy and on an Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP) with wide stakeholder involvement.
